Vrindavan’s revered saint Premanand Ji Maharaj, known for his humility and deep spirituality, has been allegedly under medical care as his health has drawn immense concern and prayers from millions across the world.

Current health condition of Premanand Ji Maharaj

Premanand Ji Maharaj is battling Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a hereditary disorder that leads to kidney failure over time.

Both his kidneys have now completely failed, and he is undergoing full-day dialysis sessions. Despite the severity of his condition, his ashram in Vrindavan, Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Parikar, confirmed that Maharaj Ji is stable and continuing his spiritual routine, though his early-morning padyatra has been indefinitely postponed.

When speaking about his health in a recent video, Maharaj Ji said with acceptance, “Dono kidney fail hai, theek kya hona hai ab to jaana hai.” — expressing a serene surrender to divine will. His calm words saddened yet spiritually strengthened many of his followers.

His latest message

In a recent satsang, Maharaj Ji spoke about faith and detachment, urging devotees to find divine refuge beyond worldly attachments. In his words, “Prabhu ke siva agar koi ashray hai to dhokha lagega,” reminding followers to rely solely on the divine and not be disheartened by worldly pain. Even amid illness, his composure and devotion continue to inspire millions.

Devotees’ reactions and emotional outpour

Social media platforms have been flooded with emotional posts under hashtags like **#PremandMaharaj and **#BhajanMargwhere devotees share prayers and affirmations.

Videos showing Maharaj Ji smiling and laughing recently brought a sense of relief to many. One devotee commented, “Just seeing your smile takes away all your sorrows,” while another wrote, “That one laugh gave us hope again.”

Expressions of devotion have crossed religious boundaries, a Muslim devotee named Sufiyan Allahabadi offered prayers for Maharaj Ji’s recovery in Medina, calling him “a good soul loved by all”. Many followers have offered kidney donations, but the saint has declined, saying he does not want to cause pain to others.

A remarkable statement of faith

In a profoundly spiritual remark shared on October 15, Maharaj Ji expressed that he wished to be reborn “again and again with failing kidneys” if it meant continuing his path of surrender to Lord Krishna. This statement has become a topic of deep contemplation among spiritual circles, reflecting his acceptance of suffering as divine blessing.

Despite rumours and fear, the recent footage of Premanand Ji Maharaj smiling has given a new wave of positivity to his followers.
