He also flagged off new rail connectivity projects to improve transport links across the state. PM Modi said these measures were aimed at correcting decades of underdevelopment in Bihar and giving the state modern infrastructure, jobs, and a boost to agriculture and industry. Calling it a “gift” to Bihar, the Prime Minister explained that these projects directly address the region’s long-standing problems flooding, poor transport, lack of power, and low farmer incomes and will enhance economic activity, reduce migration, and improve quality of life for local residents.

In his speech, he also attacked the Congress and RJD, accusing them of neglecting Bihar’s identity and appeasing infiltrators, while Chief Minister Nitish Kumar praised the initiatives and reaffirmed his alliance with the NDA.
